Please telephone after 10 a.m. for test results. Please understand that we are bound to maintain patient confidentiality and therefore results will only be given to the patient, or to the parents of minors. When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. This may take between 2 – 5 days after the test has been taken. To obtain your results you contact the surgery after 12.00 pm.
Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results, but will advise you with regards to the comments that the Dr may have made. It is your responsibility to check your test result and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor/Nurse.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them and this is recorded on their medical record.
