Flu Vaccinations 2019-2020

Immunisation against seasonal influenza (the flu jab) is offered every year to people at risk of developing serious complications from flu. The vaccine greatly reduces the chance of getting seasonal flu, and lasts for one year. In the UK, the Department of Health (DH) advises who should be immunised. The aim is to protect people who are more likely to develop complications from flu. Children aged 2 and 3 years are given a different vaccine to adults. It is called Fluenz® Tetra and is given by nasal spray. Please ask at Reception if you are eligible for the flu vaccination and make an appointment in one of our Flu Clinics.

Please Support Elm Tree Surgery In providing you with your flu vaccine this season.
