Dr Mo graduated from Charles University in Czeh Republic in 2013. He is heavily involved and has a passion for teaching and currently works in the wider training of future GPs across the local area. He also has an interest in mental health



Dr Sheikh Mateen Ellahi (male)

MBBS MRCGP

Dr. Sheikh Mateen Ellahi is a highly qualified medical professional with expertise in various fields. Dr. Mateen Ellahi completed his MBBS degree in 2014 and later earned his MRCGP qualification in 2019. Recently, he has completed an MBA in Global Health (2023). In addition, Dr. Mateen Ellahi is a GP trainer and possesses outstanding skills in teaching both under and postgraduate clinicians.

Dr. Mateen Ellahi extensive medical experience includes performing minor surgeries and joint injections with exceptional precision and expertise. His commitment to patient care and medical excellence is a testament to his exceptional skills, knowledge, and passion for his profession.

Dr Sheikh Mohib Ellahi (male)

MBBS, MRCGP

Dr Sheikh graduated from Newcastle University in 2016. He has involved the practice research studies in order to help provide the best care for our patients. He also has ENT and MSK experience and is able to provide steroid injections.

Dr Burhan Durrani

MBChB, MRCGP.Born and raised in Middlesbrough, Dr Durrani completed medical training in the University of Liverpool and returned home to complete his foundation and GP training. He has undertaken joint injection training alongside 2 years experience working under ENT in James Cook. He is looking towards completing Minor surgery training as well as formal ENT and Occupational health training

Our Nursing Team

The practice is involved in developing an integrated team of nurses. Our nurses offer a wide range of care as well as being responsible for chronic disease management, health promotion, vaccinations, women’s health and treatment room services.

Gouri is an experienced Practice Nurse that does Chronic Disease reviews, family planning, child Imms. She is also able to carry out Coil and Implant insertions and removals.

Graduated as a nurse from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016. Background in Vascular Surgery, Acute and Emergency Medicine. Currently working towards a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice in Primary Care. 

Nadine Simpson

Nurse Practitioner

Graduated from University of Sunderland in 2020 during the Covid Pandemic. Her background was in Accident & Emergency care, where she carried out various roles until commencing her career as a Nurse Practitioner in General Practice in 2022.
