COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

You may receive a letter or SMS message from NHS england prompting you to book an appointment via a link. This appointment could be at a vaccine hub or pharmacy. If you would rather have your vaccination at the surgery, please do not contact us, will contact you when it is your turn. Please be aware that NHS England are vaccinating a different age group to ourselves, therefore you will have a longer wait if you wish to be vaccinated at Elm Tree Surgery.

Vaccination clinics are held by appointment only. We have received lots of positive feedback from patients attending for the vaccination about how well organised the clinics are.

We have also vaccinated the majority of residents in our local care homes along with their staff.

We still have a significant number of patients to vaccinate which will understandably take time but we are making excellent progress and we politely ask you to please bear with us.

Please DO NOT ring the surgery to ask when you will receive the vaccine.

WE WILL CONTACT YOU AS SOON AS IT IS YOUR TURN.

Please see below the priority groups which the government have set out to receive the vaccine:

Those 80 years of age and over, residents in care homes and their carers
